Leah Martin-Dagher received a certification in Chess Education from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2008. She was the Scholastic Chess Program Director at Briarmeadow Charter School in Houston, Texas. Leah has been a lecturer and chess instructor for kindergarten through 8th-grade students at Briarmeadow Charter School since 2005. Leah holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Texas Tech University. She has taught chess for the past three years with the ‘College for Kids’ program in the Dept. of Continuing Education at Tarrant County Community College in Ft. Worth, Texas.
